FITE IT Student Organization Awards

“FITE Outstanding IT Student Organization Award!”

The Foundation for IT Education (FITE) launched a NEW IT student Organization award program during the Spring of 2019 called the "IT Student Organization Award" as a way to recognize and showcase truly outstanding IT student organizations!

Consider applying NOW to be recognized as a 2023 Outstanding IT Student Organization!

  • The updated Excel Application document for the Award (Updated 12/15/2022) which covers ALL IT student organization chapter activities for the 2022 calendar year (Spring, Summer & Fall semesters)
  • Have your organization advisor review the completed application then submit the completed application spreadsheet form by 3/1/2023 to USITCC.AwardsCommittee@gmail.com
  • Winners will be announced during the USITCC 2023 Awards luncheon in Plano, TX on Sat 4/1/2023!

The Levels of the award include:

  1. Model IT Student Organization
  2. Premier IT Student Organization
  3. IT Student Organization of the Year

The 2022 Student IT organization winners include:

IT Student Organization of the Year: University of Houston MISSO

Premier Organization:  Ball State University

Model Organization:
• New Mexico State University
• University of Houston AITP
• Missouri State University

Outstanding Membership Growth (Special Recognition):
• Georgia Gwinnett College
• Texas State University AITP

 

The 2021 Student IT organization winners which were ALL declared "Premier IT Student Organizations" included:
